Jeanette and Malcolm were avid collectors of 17th. and 18th. century drinking glasses and the obsession was turned into a glass dealing business in 1980. Initially specialising in 18th century drinking glasses, Georgian table glass and decanters but expanded to include 19th and 20th century examples when the Kensington Church Street shop opened in 1986. The 25 year lease ended in 2011 which lead to relocation in Tetbury, Gloucestershire dealing from Antique Fairs and showing a selection of stock at Top Banana Antiques Centre in Tetbury and The Warehouse and

Jeanette was awarded Millar's 'Glass Dealer of the Year' in 2000 and was the editor for 'Millar's Glass Buyers Guide' , consultant for 'Millar's Glass of 20's & 30's and has extensively written and lectured specializing in the identification of 18th century drinking glasses and the history of James Powell and Whitefriars.
We have curated many exhibitions including 'The technique of Acid Etching', 'The history of the Salt Cellar', ' Pitfalls and Pleasures of Collecting' in conjunction with Delomosne, 'James Powell and Whitefriars in partnership with Mallett's as well as 'Art Deco to Post Modernism' with Nigel Benson which won the Millar's Antiques 'Exhibition of the Year'
We have just bought a small collection of air twists which will be exhibited at The Worcester Antiques Fair, Chateau Impney, Droitwich, 15/16 February.
